2017, one of our founders, Cecilia, bacame the management trainee of Banyan Tree Phuket, Thailand after she graduated from a top hospitality college in Swizerland and finished her intern in UAE. The beautiful scenery and mysterious culture left a deep impression on her, and then she found business opportunities in tourism and accommodation rental.
Another founder, Jemery, met a soul mate from Thailand at an international police forum when he was young. Eventually he moved to Bangkok and started his tourism business.
Although they all have their own wonderful stories, they all stayed on this land by chance. This is where Thai Exclusive started.

The best hidden food stall in the hearts of locals

Many friends have asked me why I am willing to work and live in a small place like Thailand?

I think one of the answers will be that the rich nightlife here makes me vaguely find the Guangzhou in my memory, the old Guangzhou where food stalls are hard to see nowadays.

For a meal like the one pictured above, three people and six dishes are full and there is still leftovers. How much do you think? Less than 800 baht. This is really the price of Guangzhou twenty years ago…

Unfortunately, this restaurant only has a Thai name, so every time someone asks how to get there, how to describe its location is challenging my limit every time. But because of this, only locals will eat this restaurant, thus avoiding it becoming a tourist restaurant.

Briefly talk about the appearance and location, in fact, it is a small intersection next to the Cherng Thalay police station before reaching Kaitai Bank, and there is a parking lot inside this place.

Although the storefront looks really simple, it looks all kinds of tatters! But this restaurant has the most authentic Phuket flavor (everything is so spicy)

Let’s take a look at the fresh seafood that comes ashore every day. Here I only post some pictures, because every time I go, I only focus on eating pictures and forget to take pictures. Well, I am punishing myself by not being allowed to eat at this restaurant this week

The crab here has a kind of black pepper recipe, which is super delicious! ! ! Once, I went to supper with a colleague in Hong Kong. When I entered the door, my colleague was very disgusted by the simple facade and thought that 500 baht per kilogram of crab was expensive. In the end, I ordered a black pepper crab, and then fried some 600 baht and green vegetables. It only cost more than 600 baht and three people were full. Because that crab is really huge and super thick. Since then, this demanding colleague has also become a regular customer of the store.

By the way, in fact, their tiger prawns are also delicious. Here is a little popular science about the difference between Prawn and Shrimp: Prawn generally refers to shrimps living in freshwater areas, while Shrimp refers to sea shrimps. So they are both tiger prawns, but the prices of Tiger Prawn and Tiger Shrimp are vastly different! ! ! Generally speaking, Padang Banzaan Market and Rawai Seafood Market use this method to earn the price difference. Most people don’t understand it. It sounds like there is no difference between tiger prawns. In fact, they have already fallen into a big pit

As a standard Cantonese foodie, cecilia has been instilled by parents since childhood. The concept is that fish must be steamed, otherwise it will not taste delicious. Well, that’s right. However, the hot and sour lemon fish in this store is really delicious! ! ! The chilli steamed fish doused with lemon juice not only did not lose the umami taste of the fish itself, but it greatly increased the appetite. It’s no wonder that once Sisi and a Thai friend talked about what good food to eat near Bangtao, we both thought of the restaurant’s famous steamed fish with hot and sour lemon.

There should be many friends who like to eat oysters, right? The palm-sized fresh oysters and the store’s self-made seafood sauce have to be selected as a must-order menu for cecilia.

Finally, how can we miss the supper classics such as fried sixties and fried snails? People love it.

Sometimes, I feel that I have no ambitions. A few old friends want to serve a dozen and a half dozen local beers, blowing water aimlessly in different places, and spending a little money to pass the night. This is the life Sisi pursues. However, this seemingly simple request is actually a luxury for a working man who has lived overseas for a long time to find similar familiarity in a foreign country.

Reason for recommendation: Although the decoration is simple, but as a seafood supplier for all restaurants near Bang Tao, the price is outrageously cheap in Phuket, and you will never find a second one. The ingredients are fresh and the recipe is authentic and delicious!

Tips:

1. Since the store only has Thai names, it is not easy to find. If you need to take a taxi or want to drive by yourself and need a detailed address, please contact me to book a seat in advance.

2. Rare seafood such as blue crab / Black Crab and Phuket 7-color Lobster are not available every day and need to be ordered in advance.
