The authentic Thai massage & SPA you must try in Phuket

Thai Massage, nicknamed by netizens as Thai horse killing chicken, originated in ancient India. As one of the ancient medical cultures of Thailand, it has a history of more than 4,000 years and a long history. The ancient Thai royal family used it as one of the methods of strengthening the body and treating physical strain. In recent years, under the active promotion of the Thai government, Thai massage has become widely known and has almost become one of the must-experience items for every tourist visiting Thailand.

Different from Chinese massage, Thai health massage mainly focuses on moving joints, without acupoints. It can quickly eliminate fatigue and restore physical fitness. It can also enhance the elasticity and vitality of joint ligaments, restore normal joint function, and promote body fluids. Circulation, health care and disease prevention, health and beauty effects.

It is said that Thai massage is so good, so how can friends who have traveled all the way to Thailand miss it? Today, I will venture to recommend to you some spa shops that I personally think are more distinctive in Phuket!

1. The world’s top luxury brand – Banyan Tree Spa

When it comes to Banyan Tree, many people’s first reaction is not its super five-star luxury resort hotel, but its world-renowned spa brand Banyan Tree Spa. The first luxury spa resort in Asia, which opened in 1994, advocates pure techniques and techniques rather than high-tech instruments. It perfectly integrates beauty secrets passed down from generation to generation with ancient health treatments, and uses natural herbs and spices to interpret traditional Asia. type therapy.

After the great success in Phuket, Banyan Tree Spa has successively opened branches around the world. Each spa store is designed to blend in with the surrounding environment, show local culture and tradition through local materials, and reflect the unique architectural style, landform and vegetation landscape. The tropical garden-style design not only allows guests to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful natural scenery, but also awakens their senses, allowing them to fully enjoy the healing massage.

Of course, their prices are also among the top in the world. In the low season, the price of a 60-minute Thai massage is as high as 5,500 baht (roughly divided by 5 to get RMB), and in the peak season, it starts from 6,500 baht. Although the price is more than a thousand, it is still hard to find one. When cecila was working at Banyan Tree, she had to book spa reservations for staying guests more than one day in advance. It can be said that even if you have money, you can’t experience it!

2. A high-end Thai spa chain brand with affordable prices – Oasis Spa

Oasis Spa, Chinese translation Oasis Spa, is one of the most famous chain spa groups in Thailand. Whether in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket or Pattaya, Oasis has won numerous awards for its “service beyond imagination” whether it is a super-high-level aromatherapist or an effective treatment.

Although the reputation of Oasis is not as good as that of Banyan Tree, its environment, service and massage techniques are absolutely in line with its high-end brand positioning. Its pricing is only about half of that of Banyan Tree, and the cost performance is outstanding.

Phuket branch:

1) Outside Laguna Resort on Bangtao Beach

2) There are two branches located on Kamala Beach, one by the sea and one near FantaSea

3) The branch on Kata Beach can see the sea

3. A medium-sized chain brand with a high reputation – Let’s relax

Let’s Relax has a high score on Chinese websites such as Ctrip and Dianping. In fact, the main reason is that the group has a good market positioning, is willing to vigorously advertise in the Chinese market, and is priced cheap. But the package and massage techniques are relatively ordinary, nothing special. In addition, the domestic distribution is very cheap, and it is often not available, and the service attitude is also a bit poor. um, I personally think it is more suitable for the public.

4. A new chain brand that has risen suddenly – Deep Relax

Foreigners (especially Japanese) who come to Phuket usually prefer Deep Relax Spa, because the price is relatively affordable, and the service attitude, environment and original package are all highly rated. I personally also like their essential oils and ancient massage techniques.

5. An old-fashioned civilian chain brand – Raintree

Raintree is the least well-known of the above-mentioned groups, but it is indeed the most popular. The reason why I learned that it was highly recommended by a colleague from Banyan Tree before, and after trying it once, I fell in love with their welcome drink and the warm up drink at the end of the treatment. With the help of colleagues in Hong Kong, I successfully got a 50% off VIP card, and I will pinch it almost every week. I was very impressed by their unique orange honey massage package. When they spread the orange-flavored honey all over my body, I felt that I could be so sweet for the first time 🙂
